Payment:$20 in advance and $25 the day of race.
There is a junior high student and friend of ours named Aaron Pena that has been diagnosed with osteosarcoma, which is a type of bone cancer. We are organizing a 5k run to raise money for his family and to raise awareness.
We are a community improvement class at Deer Park Junior High. We are a class of 11 eighth graders and meet three days a week with a goal of trying to organize a project to reach out to people in need in our city. Our class selected to create and organize PACING FOR PENA, a 5k on December 8, 2012 for the reasons of raising money to help his family with their medical bills.
